But credits aren\'t a life or death situation, and will get granted, even if a few hours late.

Thanks for explanation, I didn\'t mean it was a life / death situation, it was just you mentioned it and I noticed it, so I asked about details. And yes, got my trickles credited somtime today.

Greetings,

Note that this is not related to credit problems people may be having, which is a different matter.

And what causes those? I have noticed, that in recent days I only got credit for SM trickles and not for CM. Here is one missing credits for second trickle, while this one had its trickle (dated 2007/12/21) credited today.

Someone care to explain this: on my <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?userid=16558">WUs page</a> the sum of credits given equals to 16351.53, which is correct. Yet on my <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_user.php?userid=16558">user page</a> it says 15784.42. Notice the difference of 567.11 credits = 6 trickles?

Happy trickle chasing,

O.K. Credits started flowing in, but not all of them, on 1 my computer I miss credits for 3 trickles and on the other I miss 2. Hope to see them added soon.

Lets see... Last time CPDN had trouble with credits and XML export it took them 21 days to fix both problems (according to <a href="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/project_graph.php?pr=cp">BoincStats</a> - note the flat portions on total credit graph [ these were caused by trickle server malfunction ] and a big "hole" in the total hosts graph [ caused by malformed XML exports ]). So, IMO it will take them at least another 2 weeks to get things sorted.

&gt; Please, before we start judging on someones actions. STOP !
&gt;
&gt; Besides that, it has been reported that the trickle issue was related to
&gt; MySQL.
&gt;
&gt; If the issue was related to storage-space, than a lot of trickles would have
&gt; been lost !

As far as I know (umm, where is that thread? O.K. Can't find the thread, but you can check this <a href="http://www.climateprediction.net/newsb.php?id=0">news item</a>: ...The immediate problem was due to a server which had filled up... ) both times this year when trickles stoped flowing, it was storage problem and not database. CPDN has a nice ability, to report past trickles, so that is why they didn't get lost. And IMO, my question was more rethorical wondering than passing a judgement.

Well, yes, the trickles do show up on time, therefore I know, I have some 300-400 credits to receive. So, my question to project managers: When will this be fixed (I beleive it will take much longer than a few days) and why didn't you in the first place enlarge the storage space on trickle server when it filled up for the first time?

P.S. It would also be about time you repaired the XML exports.

Where is that Community forum and why are the other "non-BOINC" forums soooo ugly and messed up (they're so disorganized i cannot find anything useful there)?

Best policy is to keep things simple...
