If you have used the Account Manager option in the gui to connect to projects, then the lose of all work units is apparently normal.
I\'ve seen this mentioned in the Shout box at BOINCstats, who operate the BAM Account Manager. And apparently there is information in the forums there about BAM, so you should search there, as well as ask questions there about this.

Thanks for your help.

It is the usual problem of trying to hit the ground running, without a full overview of either BAM or Boinc and their various idiosyncrasies, in spite of doing my best to take in as much of the FAQs as possible before setting it up.

I had migrated to Boinc from the BBC Climate Change Manager version , and was afraid that had something to do with it .

I have another 11 PCs to migrate once they have completed their current Work Units.

On clicking on this drop down in tools - Boinc Manager decided what I really wanted to do was to disconnect from the project - which is what it did, and I lost the hours computed , and had to re-connect and start a new Work Unit .

This action doesn\'t seem to have anything to do with synchronisation ....

I am new to what Boinc Manager does , I so am gropping my way to understand .

Can anybody explain what I have done incorrectly ?

Thanks
