3) Questions and Answers : Unix/Linux : 4.13 (Message 6612) Posted 6 Dec 2004 by old_user27587 Post: i running under linux os but i cannot run the 4.13 in fact i cannot run anything now i tried in the past to run 4.13 after i installed 4.09 and then 4.13 but i had the message 'another instance of boinc is running' so this time i delete all the directory and sub-directory of boinc and the i tried to run 4.13 and i still have the same error message so has i don't have the 4.09 anymore ... does any one has an idea about this problem
4) Questions and Answers : Unix/Linux : upgrade (Message 5899) Posted 4 Nov 2004 by old_user27587 Post: i have trouble to upgrade from 4.09 to 4.13 i\'ve copied and extract the file and then when i stop the 4.09 and tried to run 4.13 it say : another instance of boinc is running even if close and start the linux session i tried to put the file in another directory and start it from here but still the same these with deleting lockfile but nothing works does anyone know how to upgrade ?
5) Questions and Answers : Unix/Linux : upgrade and more (Message 5866) Posted 2 Nov 2004 by old_user27587 Post: is any version of boinc supposed to work any project may use the 4.13 fron seti ? i\'ve download the 4.13 from seti unzupped it but when i\'ve tried it just told : another instance of boinc is running but the 4.09 start with no visible probleme... a\'m not familliar with unix so i don\'t know what wrong i still have some probleme with viz from the 4.09 version someone did answered my mail but i don\'t really unserstand what i\'m suppose to do with it
