I found this very interesting, thank you.

Here in Sweden we have celebrated Christmas long before we were christened. Up here is the night long and cold but after winter solstice we celebrated that the days became longer.

God Jul!

The best I can come up with is to google about samba or where your interrest lie. For e.g. linux kernel information is http://www.kernelnewbies.org/ a good starting point.

I see something strange om my computer, suddenly I dont get an trickles registered for 710083, http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/trickle.php?resultid=710083 but still is calculating on my machine:
1whv_300109677 - PH 3 TS 084535 - 22/10/2055 03:30 - H:M:S=0485:43:36 AVG= 2.90 DLT= 1.64

For my other model the trickles is updated as can be seen here:

&gt; Sounds like a different problem. Check <a> href="http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=2811"&gt;this
&gt; thread</a> for a start.

Thanks for the link! I only had 10 tickles waiting but when I tried to do an update they disappeared. Maybe they will show up after a while on my homepage...

Hi
I downloaded the latest beta, 4.25 and couldn't extract it as was stated on the page http://boinc.berkeley.edu/sea.php. I can not write the command here since the post gets truncated if I do that :-(

Anyway it is wrong to do as the page says. You should run the download file as any other program. 4.25 and the Boinc Manager works fine :-)

&gt; Hi Astro
&gt;
&gt; It's the first time I've seen anything from Orion magazine. As much as for the
&gt; lucid article, it's well worth while for Amenoff's paintings which remind me
&gt; of 'The Scream' in style and mood. Does anyone know the Norwegian title?
&gt;

Hi!

The painting by Edvard Munch is called "Skriet", som more info can be found here:

/Egon, who still has a jetlag from returning from a warm and sunny San Francisco :-)
