My AMD64 FX-53 hasn't encountered any problems. (Currently on hiatus from production CPDN while running alpha)

You can try version 4.25 and see if you get better results. It has the old style scheduling algorithm.

The new scheduling algorithm works closer what what we're used to (round robin project switching) with small caches. Try setting your 'connect to' preference to a day or less and run for a few days and see what happens. You might also need to work through your existing cache before you'll see a change.

On my system, BOINC switches to CPDN regularly as it should.

I run BOINC 24/7 for weeks at a time with no ill effects.

Have you checked your system lately for a virus, spyware, or trojan lately?

For what it's worth, I have run CPDN with three different AMD processors and haven't experienced the errors and crashes you speak of. I also use GetRight, and have for years. I have seen no problems with CPDN and GetRight running at the same time. I am however, running WinXP Pro.

00 except for spikes to 30 when it does a disk write. (I'm set for 60 seconds at most, but not all project applications write every 60 seconds)

Even with an infrastructure failure, you can't tell me they are unable to make a comment about the issue on the forum...

It depends which server the result is being returned to.

uploader1.atm.ox.ac.uk is stuffed, phkup21.unibe.ch is functioning. You can see for yourself by switching the URLs, but be sure to backup your files first because the other server will reject the files because the signature is wrong.

The uploads will be rejected because the signature is wrong.

I really thought the project admins would have fixed this before the weekend... :( They would have to know about it wouldn't they?

Anyone know the retry limit? I am doing the same thing Thyme Lawn is doing in case I hit the limit. I'm currently at 48 retries.

It is true... You have something else going on.

I'm assuming you've tried resetting S@H? If that didn't work, try detaching and re-attaching.

You wouldn't think it would take much, but this bug has been around since beta. The dev team has shown time and time again that they have very little regard for us dial up users.

Hopefully the new cross platform GUI will have this fixed when it is released.
