Posted 30 Mar 2008 by old_user477320 Post: ...and now I´m back with the result! =) Success!!! :) I did all the changes... *Installed into a directory outside Vista \"Program Files\" folder. *Installed latest BOINC version. *Installed latest graphic drivers. *I now always close BOINC manually b4 restarting computer. *Also added the reboot delay in case of forgetting to close BOINC. If I had more time I would have done the changes step by step to find out what factor that actually made the difference. But since I´m to lazy... I did them all and it worked, so... ;) Thank u all for the help! Cheers |

Just wondering: Can the graphics driver have impact on the result even though I´m not using any screensaver at all at the moment and I almost never display the graphics in BOINC, I just let it run silently in the background/systray 24/7 and almost never reboot my computer. Thought I will close BOINC manually b4 reboot in the future :). |

But to me it seems that the searching only is usefull if I get the status \"Success\" there. Like I have only gotten 5 times. Doesn´t \"Clienterror\" mean that there is something going wrong with my client during processing? ...thus making my searching useless? |

Posted 16 Mar 2008 by old_user477320 Post: I´ve been running for quite a while now and has gotten many many results with my Q6600 CPU running at 3.2GHz. My credit is excelent. However now I´m looking at my Result page and under \"Client state\" it says \"Done\" everywhere. BUT: under \"Outcome\" it says \"Client Error\" on every result except 5. Why?? Does this mean I have done all this work for nothing? Please help. Example of such result: Result ID: 7281654 Work Unit ID: 6142343.
