At any rate, having just got back into the distributed computed arena again I rejoined and found that the FAQs, while containing good information, are still outdated and from what I see here, by a good two years or more. Reference the query "I cannot complete by the deadline..." referencing Feb 2006 as a start date for starting the coupled model hindcast. Would it be possible to do a short update on the status of the project at the head of the FAQ, sort of a "this is where we stand..." type of thing? Reading the news threads can provide updates but only on current issues affecting the program (from what I have seen) and not what its current status is, unless I am just not reading far enough. I believe the work is important and have dedicated 3 machines to it full time. Hope you get the storage issues resolved soon. Thanks, Ron (Boinky)...
