I'm also getting the "No work from project" message since completing a model this morning. Haven't changed any antivirus or firewall software for 6 months or more. I'll see what happens over the next couple of days as I still have plenty of work from other projects at the moment.

Yeah I exited BOINC. the trouble is my computer opens the file in internet explorer, which means I'm unable to edit it. Is there some other program that will open it and allow me to edit?
Foget it, I worked out how to edit it. I feel like such an idiot, I didn't even think to right click. Although it's still telling me that no schedulers responded.

I have a similar problem. When I looked more closely at the messages I noticed that Boinc was trying to connect to Predictor instead of Climate prediction. This didn't worry me too much because I had a similar problem a month or so back, with all my projects trying to connect to the wrong schedulers. On advice I recieved from one of the forums I updated all projects and everything eventually returned to normal.
This time that remedy doesn't seem to be working, it's nearly 4 days since I've been able to connect. I checked my client state xml file and noticed it has 2 scheduler url's listed for climate prediction, one the corect one and the other for predictor. I tried deleting the extra line without success, is there some other way to remove it or should I just detach then reatach, or persevere and hope it eventually fixes itself?. Btw i'm running v4.25 on an Athlon 2800+ with windows XP sp2. Thanks for any help.

I have a similar problem in that my computer doesn't seem to have sent any trickles since the 18th. I also noticed since about that time that the time to completion has blown out from about 400 hours to several thousand hours.

Sorry to be a pain in the backside, but I only have 1 succesfull work unit 03te_000029931 & no current ones. So are you saying that I can delete all the folders & files I listed earlier except the folder marked 03te_000029931. Again, sorry to be a pain, but I want to be sure I don't delete anything essential by mistake.

Thanks, restarting seemed to stop the wu from running outside of boinc but my cp projects folder still seems to be full of stuff.
Folders:
03te_000029931
33f7_100165858
hadsm3data_4.04_windows_intelx86(Zipped folder)
hadsm3se_4.04_windows_intelx86(Zipped folder)
hadsm3um_4.04_windows_intelx86(Zipped folder)

Files:
33f7_100165858(XML document)
hadsm3_4.04_windows_intelx86
hadsm3se_4.03_windows_intelx86
hadsm3se_4.04_windows_intelx86
hadsm3um_4.03_windows_intelx86
hadsm3um_4.04_windows_intelx86

Are any of these safe to delete or should I just leave them?

Had a power failure today. When the power was restored my cp work unit suffered an irrecoverable error. Boinc then downloaded another unit which immediately gave the same error, then the process was repeated again with the same result. My computer seemed to be running a bit slow so I checked windows task manager which showed that hadsm was happily chewing up nearly 100% of my resources. So I decided to update BOINC from version 4.05 to 4.13. When I did this I recieved several Seti work units one of which BOINC said was running. The problem was it was only ticking over 1 or 2 seconds a minute. I checked task manager & hadsm was still there so I ended task, & now the Seti unit is happily crunching away. So, my question is can I recover the hadsm unit, or if not how do I get rid of it so it won\'t slow every thing down whenever I start my computer. My computer is a Athlon 2800 running win XP sp2.
Thanks in advance for any help.
