Portugal@home é desde 1999 a maior equipa portuguesa e uma das maiores equipas do mundo. Portugal@home reúne mais de 3100 membros oriundos de 25 países: Angola, Austrália, Alemanha, Brasil, Canada, Cabo Verde, Coreia, França, Grécia, Japão, Malásia, Moçambique, Nicarágua, Portugal, Reino Unido, USA, Venezuela e vários outros. Portugal@home é uma equipa aberta e aceita todos os crunchers que se quiserem tornar membros.

Portugal@home encontra-se no 48º lugar do ranking das maiores equipas de todo o mundo e, nalguns projetos, possui uma posição ainda melhor. Atualmente, Portugal@home é a 22ª equipa no DrugDiscovery@home, um projecto em curso, e é a 15ª no Ibercivis, um projeto mais antigo, já concluído.

Os milhares de membros da equipa já contribuíram com mais de 57 mil milhões de 'créditos' (crédito é a unidade de medida usada para quantificar a carga de trabalho realizado) através da sua participação em 148 projetos, 48 ativos e 100 entretanto concluídos.

Portugal@home não privilegia nenhum tipo de projeto; os membros da equipa escolhem livremente os projetos em que desejam participar. A equipa apostou, ao longo dos seus mais de vinte anos de existência, desde a sua fundação em 1999, no Milkyway@home e no Seti@home, mas tornou-se uma equipa mais genérica, que abrange todos os tipos de projetos, dos da Física aos das Ciências Sociais, incluindo os das áreas da Biologia, Matemática, Ciências da Terra, Informática e Ciências Cognitivas.

Junte-se a nós, tornando-se membro da maior equipa portuguesa e de uma das 50 maiores do Mundo, ao mesmo tempo que contribui para o progresso do conhecimento científico nas suas ciências/projetos preferidos.

Portugal@home is an international team that joins more than 3100 members from 25 countries, including Angola, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cape Verde, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Portugal, UK, USA, Venezuela and several others. Portugal@home is an open team to which any cruncher can join, whether a portuguese or not, whether living in Portugal or abroad.

Portugal@home ranks 48 worldwide and, in some projects, holds an even better position. Currently, Portugal@home is 22nd worldwide in DrugDiscovery@home, a project that is currently active, and is 15th worldwide in Ibercivis, an older project that has already reached a completion state.

So far, thousands of team members have contributed to the team with a total of 57 Thousand Million credits(!) in 148 projects, 48 active projects and 100 completed projects.

Portugal@home does not favor any kind of project, and its members chose freely whatever projects they want to participate in. In its more that 20 years, the team has historically emphasized astronomy projects such as Milkyway@home and Seti@home, but it has become a general team that encompasses all kinds of projects, from physics to social sciences, including projects in the fields of biology, mathematics, earth sciences, computing and cognitive sciences.
